KST Designs is a place for crochet, cross-stitch, beading, macrame - and other crafts that spark my interest from time to time! As I design new patterns, I'll put the directions on this website. Some of the simple ones will be free, while the harder ones may cost a bit - to help support my habit! Free patterns have direct links to the pdf file istructions. Other patterns can be purchased through PayPal, and I will email you the pdf instructions within 24-48 hours. If you order a hardcopy, I'll get it in the mail within 1-2 working days. The blog describes my own creative projects as they happen, whether I'm trying out a new technique, working on one of my favorites, or designing a new pattern. I'll probably also throw in some comments from time to time about my children (since they take up most of the rest of my time), my beliefs (since they form the core of my life), and my writing (my other main love). Feel free to read along, or scan through the pictures in the blog for a particular project that interests you.

My latest completed design is a cross stitch Golden Bird in flight. This bird, surrounded by twining greenery and golden flowers, has just lost a single feather, floating in the sky behind him. The pattern is 82x110 stitches in size, or just under 6"x8" on 14 count Aida cloth. The pattern consists of 13 colors, and uses full stitches, a few quarter stitches, and backstitching. My next design is a cross stitch rainbow-colored butterfly. Dozens of colors will bring this beauty to life!
