KST Designs is a place for crochet, cross-stitch, beading, macrame - and other crafts that spark my interest from time to time! The blog describes my own creative projects as they happen, whether I'm trying out a new technique, working on one of my favorites, or designing a new pattern. I'll probably also throw in some comments from time to time about my children (since they take up most of the rest of my time), my beliefs (since they form the core of my life), and my writing (my other main love). Feel free to read along, or scan through the pictures in the blog for a particular project that interests you.

I am now working on a crocheted dress for an 11 1/2" doll, from the Cotillion Collection: Miss August. The pattern is from Annie's Attic, but may not be currently available on their website.

I also just finished designing a pair of original cross stitch pictures, with an aquatic design. These pictures show the completed blue fish and red fish side by side. The patterns for both fish are now available!!! The concept for both is to go with deep, rich colors, portraying fascinating, slightly-unreal fish.

As I design new patterns, I'll put the directions on this website. Some of the simple ones will be free, while the harder ones may cost a bit - to help support my habit! Free patterns have direct links to the pdf file instructions. Other patterns can be purchased through PayPal, and I will email you the pdf instructions within 24-48 hours. I don't have the website set up to automatically give you access to the purchased patterns yet, but I will work on getting this set up in the future. If you order a hardcopy, I'll get it in the mail within 1-2 working days. If you want to order multiple patterns, you can use this order form.
